Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American model and actress. Eva Mendes was spotted by a talent agent who recognized her talent. They advised her that she was destined to pursue a career within the entertainment field. In the end, after much thought and consideration she made the decision to quit university in order to work in the industry of entertainment. Her debut came in the movie Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and she was dissatisfied with her performance. To perfect her acting, she worked very hard and appeared in a variety of low budget films to showcase her talents. The path of this actress wasn't an easy one however, his tenacity and determination were recognized. Her acting career took off after she received not only praise but also recognition for her role as a character in Training Day.
