American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her acting career by playing supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she played the role as reporter Willa McPherson on FX's series Dirt. She also played the role of a supporting character on FX's short-lived drama The Ex List. She was Kaylee who was a young Moira on the opening season of FX's American Horror Story. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She is a voice actor on Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since 2019she has been on the show as Melinda "Mel" Monroe as a character in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10years old when her mother and her relocated to California [11] where they stayed for a year before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to become interested in singing, acting and photography at the age of 13. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help of her mother , who was 15.
